Penstone Art

I'm Sophie, a watercolour artist from West Cornwall and you can find me in the woods or on the cliffs sketching in my sketchbooks or working on final pieces back in my small home studio. I have a passion for the medium of watercolour and have been trying to work in harmony with them for the last 25 years or so!

I am inspired by everything around me and love to paint all types of Cornish weather, from the mist and mizzle to the rain and sunshine. I enjoy painting interior Cornwall as much as the coast and reproduce my work in prints, cards, coasters and calendars as well as original paintings.
